Welcome Home to First Baptist Church of Cimarron, Kansas!

First Baptist Church of Cimarron is located in the quiet, friendly town of Cimarron, Kansas and is conveniently centered between Dodge City and Garden City. Our church was founded in 1950, and we moved to our new building in 2000. Find us on top of the hill, at the east end of town, on the north side of Highway 50/Avenue A.

At First Baptist Church of Cimarron, we care about you and your spiritual well-being. Our purpose is to fulfill Christ’s command in His Great Commission:

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…” – Matthew 28:19 (NIV)

In 2019, Pastor Richard Deimund and his wife, Marca, celebrated their 25th anniversary leading the First Baptist Church family!

Something for Everyone!

Sunday School classes are available for all ages, and we provide nursery services during Sunday School and Sunday Worship Service.

FBC Cimarron offers Children’s Church for students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. It is held during the regular worship service, after praise and worship. Volunteer church members alternate teaching the Children’s Church lessons, and expand on the same LifeWay Christian Resources: Bible Studies for Life lessons that the children receive in Children’s Sunday School class.

Join us on Wednesday nights as we host Kids Klub for students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade, and an adult Bible study. If your child needs a ride to Kids Klub, we are happy to pick up and drop off in our church bus or van. Call us to arrange transportation. Check our Events tab for dates and times!
