Youth Sunday School

First Baptist Church of Cimarron, KS offers Sunday School classes for all ages. Youth Sunday School at First Baptist Church includes guys and girls in Junior and Senior High, which mirrors our Wednesday Night Youth Group. Each group learns from one another in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Our meeting room has been decorated by the youth themselves, and is a safe place to hang out and discuss issues related to their age group and culture.

We use LifeWay Christian Resources: Bible Studies for Life.  The adults and children use the same age-appropriate materials so that as a family they are learning the same things and can discuss the Bible, as a family, at home.

In the Youth Sunday School class, as in all Sunday School classes at First Baptist Church of Cimarron, we teach that Salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ – that Jesus is the Truth:

“Jesus told him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'” –  John 14:6 (HCSB)

Our desire is that our youth learn and know the Truth so they are able to make life choices according to that Truth. We teach that choosing a life lived according to God’s plan leads to joy and away from the unnecessary heart ache of bad choices, while at the same time emphasizing God’s great grace and forgiveness to repentant hearts.
